Fernet Francisco are, as the name suggests, a San Francisco-based company making fernet-style bitter amaro. This rhubarb version is a fruity twist on their standard version, made with 12 botanicals, and has rich rhubarb, orange, anise and herbs that make it a distinctive and tasty aperitif.
Fun fact: one of the founders of Fernet Francisco appeared on American TV's 'The Batchelor'.
Cola notes empower the nose and are promptly met with licorice, rhubarb and fennel. With orange peel and sugared cashews on the finish, this fernet drinks truer to the amaro family.
